McLaren 750S Spider Convertible

The McLaren 750S Spider Convertible

The Winds of Change

The all-new 2024 McLaren 750S Spider convertible delivers more power at less weight than the 720S Spider it replaces. A twin-turbocharged, 4.0-liter V8 brings you 30 more horses but the 750S Spider weighs less and grips the corners harder than any McLaren before it. This finely tuned 740 horsepower, rear-wheel drive supercar inspires confidence on the track and on twisty canyon roads. This is due to the fact that 30 percent of this car is new or revised with 66 pounds shaved off for class-leading power to weight ratio and inspired suspension tweaking.

McLaren 750S Spider Performance

Shorter final gearing launch this drop top from zero to 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds and top speed is a white knuckle-inducing 206 mph. New stainless steel, center exit exhaust bark loud and proud when piloting this convertible, part of a total redesign in aerodynamics for better airflow to the larger rear wing. That active wing toggles from a drag-reduction device, helping the Pirelli P Zero tires to plant themselves firmly in corners. Optional carbon fiber ceramic brakes provide ultimate stick for track grip.

Quicker steering ratio makes the car more responsive, and the electro hydraulic system is sheer perfection. McLaren’s third generation hydraulically crosslinked Proactive Chassis Control suspension offer new springs, damper, and accumulator tuning for unerring stability. Along with its z-bar rear heave spring, the ride is silky smooth in all conditions.
